Original Ragu Sauce

Assunta Cantisano started bottling her home-made Ragu when she moved from Naples to Rochester, New York in 1937. Just like Assunta we're passionate about perfection. We scour the five boroughs of New York to create recipes as close to authentic NYC Italian sauces you'll find this side of the Atlantic.

Ingredients:

Tomatoes (77%), Tomato Paste (11%), Cornflour, Onion, Carrot, Sugar, Garlic, Herbs (Basil, Parsley, Oregano), Salt, Lemon Juice, Yeast Extract Powder, Ground Herbs (Marjoram, Thyme, Sage), Ground Black Pepper.

Directions:

500g of mince is perfect with this jar. Brown it for 5 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Add Ragu, stir and heat through. You'll love it with your favourite pasta and Parmesan.
